Chris Pamplin has run Jurassic Coast Tours for 11 years: Chris Pamplin has been a fossil hunting guide for 11 years and a fossil collector since he was just 10 years old. Join Chris for a one on one family fossil collecting expedition at Charmouth, Dorset or join in with others at a guided fossil walk or residential course. Chris was Senior Warden at Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre before becoming Earth Science Advisor for the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Now he is exclusively available to take you fossil hunting, any day of the week. Chris provides an educational service for schools in the local region and counties of Dorset, Somerset and East Devon where he visits schools and talks about life in the past and fossils. Schools from all over the country can book Chris to take them on a fossil walk at Charmouth or Lyme Regis. Chris also leads adult groups and societies on explorations of the Jurassic Coast, South Devon , Torbay and Cornwall. He has a degree in geology and adult education certificate. Chris is a member of the Ussher Society and DIGS.
