Join local expert geologist and fossil hunter Chris Pamplin for a 2 hour fossil hunting walk and talk at Charmouth, great fun and no need to book, just turn up!

Meeting Place 2012
Tickets will be on sale from me,on the day, next to
the Old Coast Guard Lookout. I usually start selling tickets about 1 hour
before start time.
This is easy to find, simply go to the sea front at
Charmouth (DT6 6LL) and find the flag pole ( It seldom has a flag on it) turn
right as you look at the sea and proceed up the slope, past the Gents Toilets
to the Coast Guard Lookout. You are asked to gather by the Mill Stone Seat
which is central to the grass area about 5 mins before the talk. You can also
access the meeting point from the private field car park without going down to
the flag pole.
Late arrivals can join the talk and pay for the tickets after the talk has finished. The talk lasts about 30 mins.

Suitable for all ages, children (Under 16) must be accompanied by an adult.
Clothing: We get sunshine and rain during most months, so make sure you have clothing for the weather on the day. Waterproofs, wellies or walking boots for wet weather or shorts and beach shoes, sandals or crocks for the hot weather. In wet Winter weather full waterproofs with wellies are the best!
Participation in a Fossilwalks.com walk is entirely at your own risk. It is however a very safe activity so long as you take notice of all safety warnings given on the day. See Safety Code
