A Subzone ammonite of the Uptonia jamesoni zone, Lower Pliensbachian.
 
Small shells with a quadrate whorl section and distant sharp ribs which bear small tubercles on the ventrolateral margin, then run forward across venter to form chevrons. Size 3.5cm
